Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.–Matthew 4:1
We know Jesus faced temptation, just as we do. Did he sometimes yield to temptation, just as we do? If not, can he know what it really is like to be human?
Oh God, we give you thanks for the assurance that we are not alone as we struggle with the temptations of human living. Amen.
