Released from prison
No high school diploma
Food or rent
Medicine or rent
Drugs or rent
No money for rent
No one will rent to me
Sleeping on a park bench
Under a bridge
In a cardboard
In a shelter
With a trick
Hungry
Hopeless
Tired
Frightened
Sick
Homeless in the richest country in the world. Will you help me?
Dollar for a cup of coffee?
Buy me lunch?
Bus money to the VA clinic?
Cab fare to get the kids to school?
Pay for the night?
Jesus said: That which you do to the least among you, you do unto me! (Mathew 25:40)
Holy One, help me work to create a world in which everyone has a safe and loving home. Amen.
